What a Link in Bio Page Costs on Six Social Tools

A link in bio page is a line item on six pricing pages we read on October 15, 2026, and what it costs ranges from nothing to $119 per user per month. Linktree sells the page as the whole product. Publer and Metricool bundle it into every plan. Buffer includes it but makes it consume a paid channel slot. Later puts it on its cheapest paid tier and Agorapulse holds it back until its middle one. This guide states what each page says, with no arithmetic beyond what we label as ours.

Linktree charges for the page, and scheduling only at the top

Linktree's plan page lists four self-serve tiers in US dollars. Free is "$0 /mo" and described as "Free with restrictions", including unlimited basic links plus email and phone sign-ups.

Starter is "$6 /mo Billed annually, or $8 monthly" and adds a personalized Linktree, unlimited featured links and basic analytics. Pro is "$12 /mo Billed annually, or $15 monthly".

Pro is the tier that removes Linktree branding and lists "Sell and earn with 0% fees" plus mailing list integrations. Premium is "$30 /mo Billed annually, or $35 monthly".

Premium is also where scheduling appears. Its bullet list names link rules and routing, AI integrations, all-time analytics, data export, social media scheduling and unlimited Instagram auto-replies.

That matters for anyone choosing between a bio page and a scheduler. On Linktree the two live together only at $30 per month on annual billing, which is above every paid tier of Buffer, Publer, Metricool and Later that we read.

Linktree's own pricing FAQ gives one hard number on selling: "we currently only charge USD$0.25 per payout". It also marks paid communities and the affiliate marketplace as "Currently US only".

If you buy Premium for the scheduling, remember the networks cap you as well as the tool. We set those ceilings out in LinkedIn and X API limits for schedulers.

Team access is not on the self-serve page at all. Linktree lists an "Agency or Enterprise" option to "Get team seats, dedicated support, and custom contracts" with a contact form and no published price.

Buffer gives the page away but makes it occupy a channel

Buffer lists Start Page as included on Free, Essentials and Team. The tooltip on its comparison table adds the catch: "A landing page with links to your content. A Start Page counts as a channel towards your plan."

Buffer's billing unit is the channel. Essentials is "$5 /month" per channel or "$60 billed yearly", and Team is "$10 /month" per channel or "$120 billed yearly". Free connects up to 3 channels.

So on Free the page is not free in practice: it takes one of three slots that an Instagram or TikTok account would otherwise use. On Essentials it is $5 per month, or $60 a year, by our reading of the per-channel rate.

Buffer's free tier has other ceilings worth checking first, and we work through them in Buffer, Later and Hootsuite free plans.

Publer and Metricool bundle the page at no separate charge

Publer lists its page as a feature of every plan including Free: "Linkie integration - Drive more traffic with Linkie, the Link in Bio that updates automatically with your Publer content."

Publer Free is "$0.00" and capped at 1 user, 1 workspace, 3 social accounts excluding X, 10 scheduled posts per account and 25 saved drafts. Professional is "$5.00 / month" or "$4.00 / month billed yearly".

Metricool runs a section headed "Smartlinks: The link-in-bio tool you were looking for". Its table lists the number of links as Unlimited, six premium themes, and unlimited images, icons and buttons.

Metricool's Starter bullet list adds "Multiple link-in-bio", so the step up buys more pages rather than the first one. Starter is "From $20/month" on annual billing for up to 5 brands and $36 for up to 10.

Switch Metricool's toggle to monthly and the same tiers read $25 and $45. The page also carries a currency switch between EUR and USD, and states that "The prices indicated do not include any applicable VAT."

Metricool bills by brand rather than by person, which changes the whole shape of the bill. We compared that model against seat pricing in Metricool against Sprout Social.

Later and Agorapulse put the page on different rungs

Later lists "Link in Bio" in the bullet list of its cheapest paid tier, Starter, at "$18.75 USD/month* Billed yearly". The footnote reads "*Prices are billed in USD, applicable taxes are extra".

Starter also caps you at 1 social set of 8 profiles, 1 user and 30 posts per profile. Growth is $37.50 and Scale is $82.50 per month on annual billing, both of which keep the page.

Agorapulse is the outlier. Its feature table lists "Link in bio tool (PulseLink in bio)" under Professional, not Standard, and describes it as a clickable landing page for your Instagram bio.

Agorapulse Standard is "US $ 79" per user per month on annual billing and "US $ 99" monthly. Professional is "US $ 119" annual and "US $ 149" monthly. Advanced is "US $ 149" annual and "US $ 199" monthly.

A single Agorapulse user who wants the bio page therefore moves from $79 to $119 per month on annual billing. That is a $40 monthly step by our arithmetic on the October 15, 2026 page, for a feature Publer attaches to a free account.

What one page costs inside each tool

  • Publer: included on Free and on every paid plan, at no separate charge.
  • Metricool: Smartlinks listed with unlimited links; the Starter tier at $20 per month on annual billing adds multiple pages.
  • Buffer: included on every plan, but the page counts as one channel, so $5 per month on Essentials by our arithmetic.
  • Later: included from Starter at $18.75 per month on annual billing, alongside 1 social set and 1 user.
  • Linktree: $6 per month on annual billing for the first paid tier, rising to $30 if you also want scheduling.
  • Agorapulse: not on Standard; the first tier with PulseLink is Professional at $119 per user per month on annual billing.

One page we could not read

Beacons is a common name in this category and we left it out deliberately. Its pricing URL returned HTTP 403 to our fetch, and a headless browser got a Cloudflare interstitial reading "Sorry, you have been blocked".

We did not find the figures anywhere else we would trust, so there are no Beacons numbers in this article as of October 15, 2026. Search result snippets are not a pricing page and we do not treat them as one.

A bio page is also something you can host yourself, and the same build-or-buy question applies to the scheduler behind it. We costed that side in n8n Cloud against self-hosted.

Four questions to ask before you pay for a page

  • Does the page consume a billing unit? On Buffer a Start Page counts as a channel; on Publer and Metricool it does not.
  • Do you need scheduling in the same product? On Linktree that pairing starts at $30 per month on annual billing.
  • How long does the click data survive? Linktree lists all-time analytics and data export on Premium only.
  • Is the page a per-user feature? Agorapulse prices PulseLink per seat, so a four-person team pays four times.
  • Will the page replace clicks you would otherwise get in-platform? Posting caps shape that too, as in Instagram and TikTok API limits.
  • Could an automation platform do the same job on your own domain? Compare the meters in Zapier tasks against Make credits.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free link in bio page?

Yes, three of them. Linktree Free is $0 per month with unlimited basic links, Publer includes Linkie on its free plan, and Buffer includes Start Page on Free, though it uses one of your three channels.

How much is Linktree per month?

Starter is $6 per month billed annually or $8 monthly, Pro is $12 or $15, and Premium is $30 or $35, as published on October 15, 2026. Free is $0 with restrictions.

Which social media scheduler has the cheapest link in bio?

Publer, on published rates. Linkie is listed on the free plan and on Professional at $4 per month billed yearly, and no tier charges separately for the page.

Does Agorapulse include a link in bio page?

Only from Professional upward. The feature table lists PulseLink in bio under Professional at US$119 per user per month on annual billing, not under Standard at US$79.

Can I schedule posts from Linktree?

Only on Premium. Social media scheduling and unlimited Instagram auto-replies appear in the Premium bullet list at $30 per month billed annually, not on Starter or Pro.

Does Linktree charge a fee when I sell something?

Its pricing FAQ states "we currently only charge USD$0.25 per payout" and lists 0% selling fees from the Pro tier. Paid communities and the affiliate marketplace are marked US only.

Bottom line

If a bio page is all you need, Linktree at $6 per month on annual billing buys a tidier product than a bundled page. If you already pay a scheduler, check the bundle before adding a second subscription.

The feature is close to free in three of the six tools we read. Paying $119 per user per month for it inside Agorapulse only makes sense if you wanted that plan anyway.

Our method for spotting that kind of gate before you sign is set out in how to read a social media tool pricing page.
